The Free Zone neighboring the 1st Organized Industrial Zone on the Ankara entrance road of Kayseri is at a distance of 15 km to the Airport. It commenced in 1998 on a flat land of 6.905.000 sqm. For the reason that the Zone is located at a distance of 900 mt to the State Railways loading and unloading ramp and 600 mt to international highway it is on a convenient land for any kind of investment. The Zone having the largest Free Zone area of Turkey is at the same time the most convenient area for investment with the land sale price of 8,0 USD/sqm. In the Zone 113 pieces of operating license have been given by this time.

Since some companies received two licenses on behalf of same company in production and purchase and sale subjects, actual license owner companies are 79 pieces. 27 pieces of these companies have been continuing their operations by establishing production-weighted facilities. Along with other operating companies 43 companies have been carrying on the activity. In the Zone 1600 persons have currently been provided employment. Most important facilities of the Zone includes production-weighted facilities such as cotton yarn and weaving factory, sheet pipe and profile, electrostatic powder dye, durable consumer goods, aluminum conductive wire facilities, white appliances production factory. Infrastructures such as road, sewer, electricity, water and natural gas in our Zone are ready and in use.

Besides expenses of natural gas, water, electricity required by industrialists are submitted at a quite low price. Additionally, there is the exemption of workers’ income tax for investor manufacturers. Bureaucracy has been facilitated by way of approval of building and occupancy licenses necessary for investment within such a short period like a few hours.

Trade volumes of the Zone have been increasing each year. The trade volume which had been 362 million USD in the year of 2005 reached a volume of 520 million USD in the year of 2006. Trade volume of the year of 2007 was 647 million USD. That was 702 million USD in 2008, 443 million USD in 2009 and 525 million USD in 2010 (107 million USD in the first two months of 2011)

Export figures in our Zone has been rapidly-increasingly continuing each year. Export that had been 35 million USD in 2005 reached 72 million USD in 2006 and 107 million USD in 2007. In 2008, 133 million-USD-export sale was realized. Despite the global crisis since 2009 export figures continued keeping their current values. In 2009 export sale was realized as 131 million USD and in 2010 as 136 million USD.

 

Our Zone is the most intensive production weighted zone of Turkey. Services in our Zone are submitted to investors in the most economical way(including land owning) and facilities are provided in every kind of bureaucratic procedures.

In the light of information mentioned above, we believe that investment preference in our Zone is not a fortune for our industrials and manufacturers but a conscious preference.
