Sindelhöyük
Sindelhöyük is the largest and most developed town of Kayseri province and Develi district.

After the establishment of the Ottoman Empire in the Söğüt district of Bilecik in 1209, they settled in Anatolia; It was established as a result of tribes such as Develioğulları, Aydınoğulları, Lovers and similar tribes choosing the region as a settlement.

Sindelhöyük Town takes its name from its cemetery. Because the middle of the cemetery is high, it was named Sindelhöyük, which means "high grave" in old Turkish. (sin = grave & mound = high).

It is estimated that the first people to come to Sindelhöyük Town and choose it as a settlement area were Menteşeoğulları.
