Sultan Marshes National Park is within the borders of Yahyalı, Develi and Yeşilhisar districts of Kayseri province in the Central Anatolia Region. As a result of the flora studies carried out between 2002 and 2004, it was determined that there were 428 natural plant species in the area and 48 of them were endemic. A maximum of 301 bird species were counted in the Sultansazlığı according to the bird counting results so far. In Sultansazlığı, bird species and numbers vary greatly, especially depending on the changes in the water level in the wetland ecosystem and the months.
